Job Summary
As a Data Engineer at Jungheinrich PROFISHOP, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our analytics capabilities within a dynamic B2B e-commerce environment. Your day-to-day responsibilities include the development, operation, and optimization of our Databricks analytics platform hosted on Microsoft Azure. You will design and implement scalable data pipelines, manage cloud infrastructure via Terraform, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate cutting-edge AI and Generative AI use cases, such as LLMs and vector search. We are looking for a proactive professional with a solid background in data engineering, proficiency in SQL and Python, and a strong interest in cloud-based data architectures. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Data Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the development of ETL pipelines
- Professional experience in data modeling and database management
- Professional experience with Databricks and Azure cloud environments
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Git, and CI/CD pipelines is considered an asset
