Job Summary

The Bundeswehr is seeking a dedicated Building Automation Specialist to join the Service Center in Berlin. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and inspection of building automation systems at the Julius-Leber-Barracks. You will act as the primary administrator for the automation network, programming system components, managing data backups, and ensuring media consumption control. A key part of your day-to-day work involves analyzing system data to resolve alarms, faults, and limit violations, while actively optimizing operational processes to ensure resource efficiency. This position requires participation in on-call duty and a commitment to continuous professional development. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology or Electronics Technician for Industrial Engineering. Willingness to acquire manufacturer-specific certifications and Bundeswehr-specific technical training is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience as an Electronics Technician for Energy and Building Technology or Industrial Engineering
  • Practical experience in measurement, control, and regulation technology
  • Demonstrated ability to operate and manage IT-based technical systems
  • Cross-trade understanding of technical building automation
