Job Summary
The City of Obernburg a.Main is seeking a dedicated Head of Finance and Municipal Treasury to lead the financial operations of the municipality. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the municipal treasury and city cashier departments, managing a team of eight. Your day-to-day responsibilities include long-term investment planning, managing the municipal budget (including preparation, execution, and monitoring), overseeing financial equalization, and ensuring tax compliance, particularly concerning VAT regulations. You will also serve as a key advisor to the city council and various financial committees. This position is ideal for an experienced administrative professional with a strong background in public sector finance, looking to take on leadership responsibilities.
