Job Summary
As a Senior Construction Manager, you will oversee the execution phase of large-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects from the Final Investment Decision (FID) through to the Commercial Operation Date (COD). Your daily responsibilities include managing external partners and service providers, ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and quality targets, and handling contract and claim management. You will monitor project progress, risks, and milestones, providing regular reports to the Director of Construction & Execution. Additionally, you will support the pre-construction phase by validating measures and ensuring a smooth commissioning and handover process to the Asset Management team. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong background in EPC or infrastructure projects who thrives in a collaborative environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an electrician or technician, or a degree in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience in EPC projects, construction, or infrastructure.
- Professional experience in energy or BESS-specific project environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in project controlling, scheduling, and contract management.
