Job Summary
In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for customers in North Rhine-Westphalia and parts of Lower Saxony, focusing on the Microbiology Division. You will be responsible for managing strategic relationships, acquiring new clients, and promoting our innovative microbiological product portfolio within the food, water, pharmaceutical, and biotechnology sectors. Day-to-day, you will coordinate with internal specialist teams to deliver comprehensive solutions, manage contract negotiations, and drive sales growth to meet regional targets. You will utilize Salesforce for reporting and market analysis to refine sales strategies. The role is initially limited to a parental leave replacement until June 2028, with a significant amount of remote work combined with field travel.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a comparable field.
Experience
- At least 2 years of sales experience in a comparable technological environment
- Professional experience in customer relationship management
- Proven track record of sales success and performance
- Experience in the microbiology or related life sciences market is highly desirable

- Valid driver's license required. Must be based in the NRW region or willing to relocate within three months. Travel requirement of at least 60% within the sales territory. Fixed-term contract until June 2028.
