Job Summary
The ASW Group is seeking an Automation and Electrical Engineer to join their team in Wasserburg am Bodensee. In this role, you will be responsible for developing PLC programs and visualizations for complex special machinery and automation systems. Your day-to-day tasks will include designing and maintaining standard software modules, configuring and commissioning NC-controlled servo drives, and programming electrical components to meet specific customer requirements. You will also be involved in the commissioning of machines both in-house and at customer sites globally. The position offers a unique opportunity for career progression, with the potential to transition into the Head of Electrical Engineering role after a successful onboarding period. Candidates should bring a strong background in electrical engineering or automation technology, solid experience with PLC programming, and a willingness to travel for on-site commissioning. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree or vocational qualification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Control Engineering, or a comparable field (Technician or Engineer level).
Experience
- Professional experience in PLC programming and machine commissioning
- Experience in development and maintenance of electrical standard modules
- Experience in project planning and optimization of servo drives
