Job Summary
This role within the State Office for Taxes and Finance (LSF) in Dresden involves the end-to-end lifecycle of IT applications, from initial analysis and conceptual design to programming, testing, and 2nd-level support. You will be responsible for developing database-driven business applications, maintaining existing systems, and preparing new software for deployment within the state's IT infrastructure. The position requires a collaborative approach, as you will work closely with internal departments to provide training and technical solutions. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor, Master, or Diploma) in an IT-related field OR completed vocational training in Information/Communication Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in software development and application support
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience in IT for candidates without a university degree
- Professional experience in IT projects, including concept creation and decision-making documentation
- Professional experience in application development and maintenance
Languages
Additional
- Must hold a valid residence permit allowing employment in Germany if applicable. Must provide certified German translations for foreign educational credentials. Position is subject to the TV-L public service collective agreement.
