Job Summary

The Grosskraftwerk Mannheim AG is seeking a dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technician to join their analytical laboratory team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the operational efficiency and environmental compliance of one of Europe's most efficient coal-fired power plants. Your daily responsibilities will include taking samples across the plant premises, performing quality control on fuels such as hard coal and heating oil, and monitoring process plants through rigorous chemical analysis. You will also conduct specialized testing, including mercury measurements and scanning electron microscopy, as well as managing waste sampling and microbiological monitoring in accordance with environmental regulations. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician (Chemielaborant). Additional qualification as a state-certified Chemical Technician (Chemietechniker) is considered an advantage.
