Job Summary
As a Software Packaging Specialist, you will be responsible for the end-to-end creation, management, and distribution of software applications within enterprise networks. Your daily tasks include packaging software using industry-standard tools, automating installation and update processes, and conducting rigorous testing to ensure compatibility and reliability. You will also perform troubleshooting to resolve deployment issues and maintain comprehensive technical documentation. This role is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background in Windows and Linux environments who enjoys optimizing IT processes through scripting and automation. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training or university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 2 years of professional experience in software packaging and distribution.
- Professional experience with packaging tools such as SCCM, InstallShield, AdminStudio, or WiX.
- Professional experience in managing Windows and Linux operating systems.
- Experience in scripting for process automation and software installation.
- Experience in network management and software deployment within enterprise environments.
- Experience in troubleshooting and error diagnosis for software installations.

Additional
- Valid work permit for Germany is required. Good German language skills (B2 level or higher) are a mandatory prerequisite.
