As a Project Engineer specializing in asphalt permitting, you will play a pivotal role in the Environment, Raw Materials, and Properties department. Your primary responsibility involves coordinating and managing complex environmental approval processes for asphalt mixing plants, ensuring full compliance with regulations such as the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) and the Water Resources Act (WHG). You will be responsible for preparing permit applications, conducting feasibility studies, and developing strategic planning for new construction, expansions, and facility modifications. A key aspect of your daily work includes collaborating closely with authorities, internal stakeholders, and external technical consultants to evaluate reports regarding noise, air quality, and odor emissions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels at navigating technical and legal requirements within the construction materials industry. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Engineering, Environmental Technology, Business Law, Environmental Protection, Material Sciences, or a related field.

Experience

  • Experience in coordinating environmental approval processes
  • Experience in technical planning or feasibility studies for industrial facilities
  • Familiarity with environmental law and technical documentation
