Job Summary
As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the end-to-end electrical development of complex systems. Your day-to-day tasks include deriving technical requirements from specifications, creating electrical concepts and schematics, and coordinating with cross-functional teams, including PCB development. You will manage component selection, oversee system cabling, and ensure that all designs meet manufacturing and documentation standards using SAP PLM. A critical part of the role involves conducting engineering tests—such as EMC, shock, and vibration testing—to ensure product reliability and successful transition to series production. This 36-month position is based in Bremen with a hybrid work model, offering a unique opportunity to work on high-standard projects involving military norms and rigorous technical specifications. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical engineering, proficiency in E3-Series, and the ability to navigate complex development environments while maintaining high-quality documentation and product data standards.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, Mechatronics, or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the electrical development of devices or systems
- Several years of experience with E3-Series for cable development
- Professional experience in applying military standards for EMC and power supply systems
