Job Summary
As a Hardware Development Engineer at romutec, you will play a pivotal role in the design and production of electronic control systems for building automation. Working within a collaborative family-owned company, your day-to-day responsibilities will involve developing circuit boards and electronic assemblies, creating schematics and layouts using Autodesk Fusion 360 Electronics, and managing BOMs within an ERP system. You will also be tasked with hands-on prototyping, testing, and quality assurance, acting as a vital link between the development team and production. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electronics or electrical engineering (e.g., Electronics Technician for Devices and Systems, State-Certified Assistant for Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Technician, or equivalent).
Experience
- Professional experience in electronics or electrical engineering
- Practical experience with laboratory equipment and measurement technology
- Proven experience in soldering techniques (THT and SMD rework)
- Experience with EDA/PCB design software (e.g., Fusion 360, KiCad, or Eagle)
- Experience with ERP systems and master data management
