Job Summary
As an Electrical Engineer specializing in electrical design, you will play a pivotal role in the development and modernization of high-quality sanding machines. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating detailed electrical and pneumatic schematics using EPLAN P8, calculating machine power requirements, and managing electrical design for machine rebuilds. You will lead the further development of the existing machine portfolio and contribute to new product innovations while optimizing design standards, templates, and macros. Beyond design, you will act as the technical point of contact for production, assembly, and support teams, providing professional guidance as the department grows. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who thrives in a versatile industrial manufacturing environment, balancing technical precision with cross-departmental collaboration. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics design
- Experience in the creation of electrical and pneumatic schematics
- Experience in safety-related circuit design using SISTEMA
- Experience in special purpose machinery construction or the woodworking industry is highly desirable
