As a Deputy Technical Manager at NORDFROST in Hamburg, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our state-of-the-art cold storage and logistics facilities. Your day-to-day responsibilities include supporting the Technical Manager in overseeing facility operations, managing the technical team, and coordinating maintenance and repair schedules. You will be responsible for troubleshooting complex refrigeration and climate control systems, optimizing energy efficiency, and ensuring all documentation meets regulatory standards. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Refrigeration Technology, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Building Services Engineering. Advanced certification as a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician is highly preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience in the maintenance of refrigeration systems, building technology, and conveyor systems
- Experience in technical leadership or personnel management is considered an asset
- Proven ability to manage technical operations and coordinate external service providers
- Experience in planning and executing maintenance, inspections, and repair tasks
