Job Summary
The City of Bad Oldesloe is seeking an Information Security Officer to join their Organization and IT department. This role is crucial for establishing, implementing, and continuously developing IT security measures for both administrative and school IT systems. The successful candidate will actively shape the information security strategy, identify risks, and implement effective protective measures, working closely with data protection, IT, and legal departments. Key responsibilities include planning and conducting IT security training, assessing security incidents, and providing expert advice to various departments. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Administrative Informatics, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a comparable field; OR completed vocational training as an Administrative Assistant with a passed Angestelltenprüfung II; OR civil service qualification for career group 2, 1st entry-level of the General Services.
Experience
- Professional experience in information security, ideally within a municipal administration of comparable size
- Comprehensive knowledge of IT security and data protection, potentially with certification
- Knowledge of state-of-the-art protective measures and security solutions
- Knowledge and experience in handling current information and communication technologies
