Job Summary

We are an internationally active, medium-sized mechanical engineering company based in Wesel since 1966. We are looking for an independent and responsible Accountant (m/f/d) to join our finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the daily accounting operations, including master data maintenance and the processing of accounts payable and receivable. You will utilize SAP Business One and DATEV to manage financial workflows, handle monthly reporting, and prepare group reporting documents. Additionally, you will be tasked with preparing monthly VAT returns (UST-VA), EC sales lists (ZA), and INTRASTAT declarations. A key part of your responsibilities will involve providing support during the preparation of annual financial statements. This position offers a stable, permanent role within an established company with a long-standing history in the engineering sector, providing a professional environment for an experienced finance professional to take ownership of accounting processes.
