Job Summary

The GMVA Niederrhein, a major waste-to-energy facility, is seeking a Laboratory Technician to join their team as a parental leave replacement. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and analyzing samples of process water and solids within the company's laboratory. Your day-to-day duties will include preparing chemicals for dosing into plant systems, documenting all analytical results according to established guidelines, and performing maintenance and cleaning of dosing and measuring equipment. You will also provide support to the production and logistics departments and operate industrial trucks when required. The ideal candidate will have a completed vocational qualification in chemistry and practical experience with ICP and AAS instrumentation. Strong proficiency in MS Office 365, particularly Word and Excel, is essential.
