Job Summary
This role is for an IT Help Desk Specialist to join an innovative research partner in Cologne, Germany, focusing on IT support within a meaningful and future-oriented research environment. The specialist will be the central point of contact for 1st and 2nd-level support, handling incident resolution, analyzing issues, and escalating as necessary. Key responsibilities include providing support for Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office, managing user accounts in Active Directory, documenting processes in a ticketing system, and maintaining a knowledge base. The ideal candidate will have an IT qualification or relevant professional experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency in Windows and Office applications, with a structured and helpful approach to problem-solving. This is a full-time, temporary position for at least 12 months with potential for long-term engagement.
