Job Summary
This role involves developing cutting-edge manufacturing processes, specifically grinding and ultra-precision machining techniques, for the production and refurbishment of lithography optics. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing optical inspection processes to monitor and continuously improve quality. A key aspect of the role is transitioning developed processes from the R&D phase into series production, taking ownership of development tasks, and ensuring project progress meets deadlines, quality standards, and cost targets. The position requires close collaboration with internal expert teams, suppliers, and external development partners, making strong communication and analytical skills essential for contributing to high-tech innovation.
Required Skills
Education
Master's degree in Micro- and Nanotechnology, Production Engineering, Technical Physics, or comparable engineering sciences
Experience
- Professional experience in manufacturing or structuring of technical surfaces
- Experience with statistical process control and data-driven quality monitoring is advantageous
