Job Summary
As an Electrical and Control Systems Technician at FUG Fernwärme Ulm GmbH, you will play a critical role in maintaining the operational integrity of our district heating and waste-to-energy facilities in Ulm. Your daily responsibilities will include monitoring and maintaining process control and PLC systems, performing diagnostic analysis of malfunctions, and conducting regular maintenance and repairs on electrical and control components. You will also contribute to engineering projects, assisting in the planning and commissioning of facility upgrades, modernizations, and new installations. The ideal candidate brings a strong background in electrical engineering or computer science, combined with practical expertise in instrumentation and control technology. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or computer science, or advanced certification as a Master Craftsman/Technician, or a university degree in Electrical Engineering.

- Professional experience in electrical engineering or computer science
- Practical experience in instrumentation, control systems, and electrical energy technology
- Experience in maintenance, inspection, and repair of technical systems
- Experience in project participation and implementation
