Job Summary

As a Quantitative Analyst at Encavis, you will play a pivotal role in the energy transition by combining advanced modelling, data analytics, and market expertise to drive commercial strategy. Your day-to-day responsibilities include analyzing European energy market drivers, applying stochastic and fundamental models to price complex energy products like PPAs and derivatives, and developing hedging strategies. You will also lead efforts in digitizing and automating pricing and risk assessment tools, while providing key decision-support data to management. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background in quantitative analysis, proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, and a passion for renewable energy markets. Required Skills

Education

University degree in natural sciences, economics, statistics, or a comparable field.

Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in a quantitative role within origination, trading, or risk management
  • Professional experience in statistical analysis and application of stochastic and fundamental models
  • Professional experience in data extraction, manipulation, and analysis from APIs and databases
  • Professional experience in communicating complex quantitative topics to non-technical stakeholders
