Job Summary

As a Technical Facility Manager for our retail and outlet portfolio across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, you will oversee the technical maintenance and operations of over 100 stores and 20 showrooms. You will act as the primary coordinator for external facility service providers, managing tenders, contract negotiations, and quality control. Your day-to-day work involves planning technical equipment for store openings and renovations, ensuring compliance with statutory testing requirements, and overseeing maintenance budgets. You will collaborate closely with internal departments like store expansion, retail management, and commercial facility management to ensure operational excellence. This role is ideal for a hands-on professional who enjoys project management and technical oversight in a fast-paced retail environment. The position offers significant autonomy, a company car, and the opportunity to shape technical standards within a growing international fashion group, all while working in a culture that values flat hierarchies and individual initiative.

Required Skills

Education

Technical training in building services, electrical engineering, or utility engineering; ideally supplemented by a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or Engineering degree.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in facility management, ideally with a focus on technical building equipment.
  • Proven experience in coordinating external service providers and managing technical maintenance processes.
  • Experience in project planning for commercial spaces, including store openings or renovations.

Languages

German (Basic)

Additional

  • Driving license Class B required. Willingness to travel within the DACH region and Italy. Must ensure compliance with all statutory safety and maintenance regulations.
