Job Summary
The Friedrich Schiller University Jena is seeking a Research Associate in Chemistry Education to join the Institute for Inorganic and Analytical Chemistry. In this part-time (50%) role, you will contribute to research and development projects focused on innovative teaching and learning processes in chemistry. Your day-to-day responsibilities include participating in research, developing experimental teaching concepts, organizing professional development training for teachers, and contributing to university-level instruction. A core component of this position is the opportunity to pursue an advanced academic qualification, such as a doctorate. Candidates should hold a State Examination for teaching chemistry at the secondary level (Gymnasium) or a comparable degree with a focus on chemistry didactics.
