Job Summary

The Chemical and Veterinary Investigation Office Münsterland-Emscher-Lippe (CVUA-MEL) is seeking a part-time (50%) Chemical Laboratory Technician or Chemical Technical Assistant to join their contaminants analysis team. In this role, you will be responsible for internal laboratory organization, preparing official food, feed, and consumer goods samples for analysis, and performing contaminant testing using GC-MS and GC-MS/MS technologies. You will also manage laboratory data systems, handle instrument software for data evaluation, and contribute to quality management processes. A key aspect of the role involves participating in the training of interns and junior staff. This position offers a stable, long-term opportunity within a public-sector laboratory environment, working alongside a team of 15 scientists and technicians.
