Job Summary

This role at the NLWKN in Verden involves the comprehensive management of groundwater monitoring stations across Lower Saxony. You will be responsible for the entire lifecycle of these stations, including site selection, construction oversight, functional testing, and maintenance. Day-to-day tasks include performing hydraulic tests, camera inspections, conducting surveying work, and managing technical data within the AquaInfo database. You will also coordinate procurement processes for geophysical investigations and maintenance works. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented technician with a background in drilling, geological, or environmental engineering who enjoys field-based work combined with administrative project management. Required Skills

Education

Experience

  • Practical experience in water management and field-based technical operations.
  • Experience in soil science, hydrology, and hydrochemistry.
