Job Summary
The Bundesanstalt für Landwirtschaft und Ernährung (BLE) is seeking an IT Officer/Specialist for their Finance and Accounting department in Bonn. This role involves the conception, coordination, and support of IT projects related to the development and enhancement of custom software used in financial and accounting processes, as well as optimizing the use of the MACH ERP system. Key responsibilities include defining requirements, conducting economic feasibility studies, creating specifications, and managing interfaces. The position also entails optimizing and controlling standard financial accounting software, generating reports using the ERP system's reporting tools, and administering specialized financial applications. Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences degree (Diplom or Bachelor) in Informatics, Business Informatics, Administrative Informatics, Business Administration, Administrative Sciences, Natural Sciences, or comparable studies. Alternatively, a professional qualification such as Data Scientist, Administrative Specialist, Business Economist, or Economist.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT project conception and technical description
- Professional experience in business process creation
- Professional experience in IT project quality assurance
- Minimum 8 years of proven professional experience at the level of the advertised profile (if no relevant degree)

Additional
- Willingness to undergo a security clearance check (SÜG § 8 or § 9). Must provide proof of health suitability via a medical examination and a clear police certificate. For foreign qualifications, a certificate evaluation by the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZaB) of the Conference of Ministers of Education is required.
