Job Summary
As an IT Support Specialist at BURGER (part of the Brandt Group), you will serve as the primary point of contact for employees at our Burg and Ohrdruf locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve providing first-level support, including receiving, analyzing, and resolving hardware and software issues. You will be responsible for setting up workstations, including PCs, notebooks, printers, and mobile devices, as well as assisting with IT rollouts and infrastructure projects. A key aspect of this role is maintaining accurate documentation of incidents and IT processes, while escalating complex technical issues to the second-level support team. This position is ideal for a service-oriented professional who enjoys hands-on technical work and is comfortable traveling between production sites. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in an IT-related field (e.g., IT Specialist for System Integration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in an IT support or helpdesk environment
- Practical experience with hardware installation and workstation setup
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving technical incidents
