Job Summary
This role involves serving as the IT coordinator for schools and the city library, providing essential technical support and infrastructure management. Daily tasks include configuring and maintaining mobile device management (MDM) systems, telecommunications equipment, and internet connectivity for schools, as well as managing the IT network for the library, including public Wi-Fi and MakerSpace environments. You will provide both 1st and 2nd-level support and act as a technical advisor for procurement and contracts. The position is ideal for a proactive IT professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical work and strategic coordination. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT Systems Electronics Technician, or IT Systems Technician; OR a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Informatics; OR successful completion of the career examination for the senior technical administrative service (Laufbahngruppe 2, 1. Einstiegsamt).
Experience
- Professional experience in IT systems administration or technical support
- Experience in Second-Level-Support is desirable
- Experience in managing virtualized environments and diverse operating systems

- Valid Class B driver's license required; willingness to use a private vehicle for business purposes with expense reimbursement; must be eligible to work in Germany.
