Job Summary

As a Civil Engineer specializing in traffic planning and water management, you will play a pivotal role in a well-established, owner-managed engineering firm. Your day-to-day responsibilities will involve comprehensive planning for road and sewer construction projects. You will be responsible for preparing tenders, evaluating incoming bids, and managing projects independently across all phases (Lph 1-9 HOAI) following an initial onboarding period. This role is ideal for a candidate who values autonomy and professional growth within a dynamic, mid-sized team. You will contribute to diverse engineering tasks ranging from surveying and road design to drainage planning and sewer rehabilitation. The position offers a stable, permanent contract in a firm with a long history of expertise in civil engineering, providing a collaborative environment where you can take full ownership of your projects and demonstrate your technical proficiency in infrastructure development.

Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Civil Engineering (Bauingenieurwesen), preferably with a focus on civil/underground engineering (Tiefbau).

Experience

  • Professional experience in civil engineering, specifically in road and sewer construction
  • Experience or capability to manage projects independently across HOAI phases 1-9
  • Experience in preparing and evaluating tenders

Languages

German (Basic)

  • Driving license Class B required. Ability to work independently and reliably. Work permit for Germany is required.
