Job Summary

This role involves working within a structural laboratory for a prominent international aerospace client in Augsburg. As a Materials Testing Technician, you will be responsible for the end-to-end preparation and testing of material samples. Your day-to-day tasks include cutting and preparing samples, instrumenting test components, and performing a variety of mechanical and thermal tests—such as tensile, compression, and shear strength tests, as well as thermal analysis using DMA and DSC techniques. You will also support the maintenance of laboratory equipment and contribute to the creation of technical documentation and test instructions. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a background in materials science or chemistry who thrives in a technical, high-precision environment. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Materials Tester, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or equivalent; Master Craftsman (Meister) qualification is considered a plus.
