Job Summary
As a Traction Power Engineer or Master Electrician at VGF Frankfurt, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliable operation of Frankfurt's U-Bahn and tram networks. You will lead projects focused on the construction and modernization of rectifier substations, overseeing the entire lifecycle of these infrastructure projects. Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning renewal measures, managing public tender processes, and coordinating external service providers to ensure optimal power supply for the fleet. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in electrical engineering with further qualification as a Technician or Master Electrician, or a university degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics.
Experience
- Professional experience in the planning or supervision of energy supply and distribution systems
- Practical experience in electrical engineering or mechatronics
- Experience in managing construction projects or infrastructure maintenance
