Job Summary

The IEA Hamburg is seeking a Project Associate to join the National Data Management department. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end logistics and data-related processes for educational studies conducted in Germany. Your day-to-day responsibilities include managing data collection processes, both manual and scanner-based, maintaining study-related databases, and administering online surveys. You will also play a key role in data quality assurance, performing consistency checks and creating comprehensive documentation, including codebooks. A core component of the position involves collaborating with internal and external project partners to ensure the integrity of research data. The ideal candidate holds a degree in social sciences or a relevant vocational qualification in market research and possesses a meticulous, organized approach to data handling.
