Job Summary
As a Planning Engineer for Secondary Technology, you will be the technical architect behind the protection, measurement, and control systems for substations and switchgear in medium, high, and extra-high voltage projects. Your day-to-day work involves conceptualizing and designing complex secondary technology systems, creating detailed technical documentation such as circuit diagrams and terminal plans, and managing interfaces between engineering, assembly, and commissioning teams. You will also serve as a primary technical contact for grid operators and energy suppliers, ensuring all designs meet strict safety standards and regulatory requirements. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Technology, or Mechatronics, or equivalent qualification as a Technician or Master Craftsman.
Experience
- Professional experience in protection and control technology
- Professional experience in planning systems for medium and high voltage environments
- Proven ability to manage technical interfaces with external partners and grid operators
