Job Summary
As a Study Assistant, you will provide essential daily support to a student with physical disabilities at the Johannes Gutenberg University in Mainz. Your primary responsibilities include accompanying the student to and from university, assisting with campus navigation, facilitating room changes, and providing support during breaks and in the cafeteria. A critical component of this role involves taking accurate, structured notes during lectures and seminars, either digitally or by hand. You will work closely with the student to ensure their academic success while maintaining a professional, respectful, and reliable demeanor. This position is unique because it offers a highly meaningful, person-centered experience where you directly impact a student's ability to participate in academic life.
