Job Summary

As a Senior Project Engineer for Digital Interlocking at DB InfraGO AG, you will play a pivotal role in modernizing railway infrastructure in the Mainz region. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve managing the planning and realization processes for complex signaling and interlocking technology projects. You will act as the central point of contact for stakeholders, authorities, and contractors, ensuring projects meet national and EU regulatory standards. You will oversee the entire project lifecycle, from drafting tender documents and managing procurement to coordinating interdisciplinary teams across civil engineering, equipment technology, and traffic facilities. This role is ideal for an experienced engineer looking to lead high-impact digitalization projects that ensure the future reliability of the German rail network. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Minimum 4 years of professional experience, preferably in project management for complex railway investment projects.
  • Experience in the procedural handling of construction projects according to VV BAU STE, VV Bau, and VV IST regulations.
  • Experience in coordinating interdisciplinary teams and external stakeholders.

Languages

German (Basic)
