Job Summary
The City of Sindelfingen is seeking an Electrical Engineer to lead the implementation of its municipal photovoltaic strategy. In this role, you will manage the lifecycle of solar energy projects on public buildings, from initial concept and feasibility studies to planning, tendering, and commissioning. You will act as the technical project lead, coordinating external contractors and engineering firms while ensuring strict adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. A key part of your day-to-day will involve integrating renewable energy systems into existing building technology and optimizing energy yields across the city's infrastructure. You will also provide expert consultation to internal departments and municipal committees. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a comparable technical/engineering field.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering, energy technology, or building services engineering
- Experience in project management, including planning and commissioning of technical facilities
- Experience in navigating public procurement processes and relevant technical regulations (VDE, DIN, EEG, VOB, HOAI)
