Job Summary

As an IT Application Manager at Vivantes, you will play a pivotal role in the digitalization of clinical processes. Your primary responsibility is the administration, configuration, and ongoing development of the ORBIS clinical workstation system and ORBIS_U applications. You will work closely with clinical management and medical staff to optimize workflows, specifically focusing on order and results management, as well as surgical documentation. Your day-to-day tasks include providing 1st and 2nd level support, conducting testing scenarios, managing documentation, and leading or participating in projects to implement new system functionalities. You will also organize and conduct user training sessions while acting as a liaison between internal stakeholders and external service providers. This position is ideal for an IT professional with a background in medical informatics who is passionate about improving healthcare delivery through technology. You will be part of a forward-thinking IT team in Berlin, contributing to the Vivantes 2030 strategy, and benefiting from a structured onboarding process and a secure, public-sector-aligned employment environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Medical Informatics, or Business Informatics, or an IT career changer from the medical field with additional technical training.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the administration and configuration of the ORBIS clinical workstation system
  • Professional experience in clinical documentation processes and workflow optimization
  • Experience in project work within the healthcare sector
  • Experience in test case management and the creation of application use cases
  • Experience in customizing workflow solutions and administration of ORBIS_U applications

Additional

  • Proof of measles immunization is legally required. This is a one-year fixed-term contract (38.5 hours/week).
