As an Electrical Design Engineer specializing in special purpose machinery, you will play a pivotal role in designing and planning complex electrical control systems and switchgear. Your day-to-day responsibilities include creating circuit diagrams, terminal plans, and bills of materials using EPLAN Electric P8. You will be responsible for selecting appropriate components in coordination with project management and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and directives, such as the Machinery Directive and CE marking. Furthermore, you will provide technical support during commissioning and troubleshooting, while collaborating closely with the mechanical, software, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in an electrical field with additional qualification as a Technician (Techniker) or a University degree in Electrical Engineering.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in electrical design using EPLAN Electric P8
  • Professional experience in planning and project engineering of electrical control systems
  • Experience with relevant industry standards and directives, including Machinery Directive and CE certification
