Job Summary

As a Development Engineer for Control Units and Components, you will play a pivotal role in the development and testing of communication software for battery-electric control units. Your daily responsibilities will involve designing and overseeing continuous testing strategies within SiL (Software-in-the-Loop) and HiL (Hardware-in-the-Loop) environments to ensure software verification and compliance with industry standards such as Automotive SPICE and ISTQB. You will be responsible for creating and implementing comprehensive test cases and plans while collaborating closely with international development partners. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science, Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Information Technology, Automotive Engineering, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in vehicle and control unit networking
  • Experience in software development using C/C++ and Python
  • Practical experience with SiL and HiL testing environments
  • Experience with automotive tools such as CANoe and PREEvision
  • Experience working within Automotive SPICE and ISTQB frameworks
  • Experience with version control and collaboration tools like GitLab and Jira
