Job Summary

This is a leadership position overseeing the Finance Department for the Amt Pinnau administration, located near Hamburg. The successful candidate will lead a team of 15 employees across various functions, including treasury, taxation, financial accounting, and asset management. Day-to-day responsibilities involve managing municipal budgets using double-entry bookkeeping (Doppik), preparing annual financial statements, and ensuring liquidity. You will also be responsible for developing financial reports, implementing a Tax Compliance Management System (TCMS), and representing the department in political committees. Required Skills

Education

Qualification for Career Group 2 (First Entry Level) in General Services, such as a Degree in Public Administration (Dipl.-Verwaltungswirt/in), Degree in Finance (Dipl.-Finanzwirt/in), or completed administrative training with the second specialist examination (Angestelltenprüfung II).

Experience

  • Several years of leadership experience with a communicative and motivating management style
  • Extensive practical experience in municipal budget and financial management law
  • Proven experience in project management and digital workflow implementation
  • Professional experience in preparing annual financial statements and balance sheets
  • Experience in political committee work and public administration

Additional
