Job Summary

As an Accounting Assistant, you will play a central role in managing the day-to-day financial operations of the company. Your daily responsibilities include overseeing invoice controls in compliance with legal regulations, managing credit limits, and performing identification number checks in collaboration with external service providers. You will be responsible for preparing documentation for VAT audits, generating internal statistics for tax consultants, and ensuring all statutory reports are submitted to authorities on time. Additionally, you will support colleagues with the organization and cost management of business travel, including the processing of travel expense reports and credit card statements. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellter) or equivalent commercial qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in accounting or tax consultancy required
  • Experience in processing travel expense reports and credit card accounting
  • Practical experience with ERP software, preferably Microsoft Dynamics
  • Experience in preparing documentation for tax authorities and VAT audits
