Job Summary
This role involves the electrical design and hardware planning of control systems for custom machinery and automation solutions. As an Electrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for creating circuit diagrams, parts lists, and technical evaluations using EPLAN P8. Your day-to-day will include managing technical documentation up to CE standards, coordinating with customers and internal departments, and overseeing external service providers for cabinet construction and installation. You will also handle material selection, procurement, and support the sales team with technical calculations for project bids. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy high levels of responsibility and autonomy within a technically demanding environment. Required Skills
Education
Degree or vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or Mechatronics
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical design specifically within the mechanical or plant engineering sectors
- Proven expertise in using EPLAN P8 for creating circuit diagrams and evaluations
- Experience in technical requirement clarification with customers and project management
- Experience in coordinating external service providers and performing technical inspections
- Background in material selection and cost-conscious procurement
