Job Summary
As a (Junior) Data Scientist within the AI Forge at CHECK24, you will act as an in-house consultant, developing innovative AI and machine learning solutions from initial concept to live deployment. Your daily responsibilities include building data pipelines, conducting deep data analysis, and integrating modern Large Language Models (LLMs) and agentic systems into digital comparison products. You will collaborate closely with top management and various specialist departments to identify value-creation potential. This role is ideal for proactive individuals with a strong background in Python and ML frameworks who want to see their work implemented live on high-traffic websites and apps. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in a scientific or technical field (e.g., Business Informatics, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics).
Experience
- Professional experience in developing AI and machine learning solutions throughout the full lifecycle
- Practical experience in applying ML/DL frameworks and Python-based data processing
- Initial experience with Prompt Engineering, LLM integration, and Agentic systems
- Prior experience in consulting, startups, or digital companies is preferred
- Experience in stakeholder management and cross-departmental coordination
Languages
Additional
- Business fluent German skills (at least B2 level) are required. The role is based in an office environment requiring a hands-on mentality and analytical thinking.
