Job Summary
This role involves the electrical installation, commissioning, and maintenance of drive systems, sensors, and control units for windows, doors, gates, and access control systems. Based in Berlin-Charlottenburg, you will perform troubleshooting and repairs on electromechanical components while working closely with the construction and metalworking teams. What makes this position unique is the high-security nature of the projects; you will work in sensitive environments such as the Federal Intelligence Service (BND), the Federal Printing Office, and German embassies worldwide. Candidates must have a background in electrical engineering and a willingness to handle technical special solutions at the interface of metal construction. The position offers a 37-hour work week, above-tariff compensation, and 30 days of vacation, providing a stable long-term career in a specialized field.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as an Electrician or Electronics Technician (m/f/d), ideally specializing in Energy and Building Technology, Industrial Engineering, or Automation Technology.
Experience
- Professional experience in the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical components and drive systems
- Experience working with circuit diagrams and electrical connections
- Experience in energy and building technology, industrial engineering, or automation technology is preferred
- Experience working in sensitive or high-security environments is implied by the project scope

- Driving license class B is desirable. Willingness to travel for service and maintenance assignments within Germany and occasionally abroad (e.g., German embassies) is required.
