Job Summary
This role involves managing the full lifecycle of civil engineering projects for the municipality of Dallgow-Döberitz, located near Berlin. As a key member of the Building Authority, you will independently organize new construction and maintenance projects for roads, bridges, and landscaping. Your day-to-day will involve preparing and executing public procurement procedures, drafting planning documents for smaller projects, and managing the municipal building yard. Additionally, you will handle administrative tasks such as processing special use permits for property access and excavation. This position is ideal for a professional with a background in civil engineering or traffic technology who enjoys a mix of technical planning and administrative management. The role offers the stability of a permanent public service contract (TVöD), 30 days of vacation, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to shape the infrastructure of a rapidly growing community.
Required Skills
Education
Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Road Construction (Diploma or Bachelor), or equivalent skills and knowledge acquired through many years of relevant professional activity.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in civil engineering or traffic infrastructure preferred
- Experience in the preparation and execution of public procurement procedures
- Professional experience in road and bridge construction maintenance and new builds
- Experience in creating planning documents and performance descriptions for construction projects
- Experience in administrative leadership or managing municipal building yards
