Job Summary
This role involves the comprehensive administration of IT systems and networks for the city of Schönebeck (Elbe). As a Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the setup, operation, and maintenance of servers, client environments, and network infrastructure, primarily within a Windows ecosystem. Your daily tasks include ensuring IT security and data protection, planning and implementing innovative hardware and software projects, and providing technical support for specialized administrative software such as geographic information systems and time tracking tools. The position is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of technical maintenance and strategic project work. Required Skills
Education
Completed at least a three-year vocational training as an IT Specialist for System Integration (Fachinformatiker Systemintegration) or an equivalent degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT systems integration or a comparable technical field
- Proven experience in managing Windows-based server and client infrastructures
- Experience in network configuration including TCP/IP, routing, and switching
- Experience with IT security regulations and data protection laws in a professional context
- Experience in the implementation and conceptualization of IT projects
