Job Summary

As a Systems Engineer for Diagnostics & E/E Systems in the Defence sector, you will be responsible for creating diagnostic system specifications for various vehicle components, including on-board networks, lighting systems, and climate control. Your daily tasks involve analyzing data communication between Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and integrating radio and communication systems (C4ISR) into the E/E architecture. You will perform cross-system error analysis and develop diagnostic concepts using tools like CANoe, while also conducting fault tree and root cause analyses. This role is highly collaborative, requiring coordination with project management and technical teams to ensure KPIs and milestones are met throughout the series development and production phases. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or Computer Science

Experience

  • Professional experience in systems engineering and requirements management for mechatronic systems
  • Practical experience with MBSE (Model-Based Systems Engineering)
  • Experience in vehicle development according to the V-Model
  • Experience in ECU topologies and E/E architectures
  • Experience with diagnostic tools and root cause analysis methodologies
