Job Summary

As a Specialist Planner for Instrumentation and Control (I&C) and Building Automation, you will join the BKW Engineering Network of Excellence to design innovative, sustainable solutions for the built environment. Your daily responsibilities include developing technically sophisticated cross-trade solutions, creating performance specifications, I&C diagrams, and data point lists. You will also be responsible for functional descriptions and the design of control cabinets in accordance with HOAI service phases 3–9. This role requires a high level of professional communication with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring project enthusiasm and technical accuracy. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Electrical Engineering, Building Automation, or a comparable qualification; alternatively, a Master Craftsman (Meister) or State-Certified Technician in Electrical Engineering or TGA.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the independent planning and execution of projects within HOAI/VOB service phases 1–9
  • Experience in creating performance specifications using AVA software
  • Practical knowledge in utilizing I&C planning tools and BUS system integration
  • Proven track record in cross-trade technical coordination and client communication
