As a Construction Claims and Contract Manager, you will be responsible for the professional examination and negotiation of complex construction supplements (VOB) to ensure optimal financial project realization from the client's perspective. Your daily routine involves active claim management, implementing anti-claim strategies, and collaborating with specialist departments to identify and mitigate risk within procurement documents. You will also prepare and execute procurement procedures for sophisticated construction services. This role is ideal for a technical professional with strong negotiation skills and deep expertise in construction pricing. The position is particularly attractive due to its high level of stability (permanent contract), flexible working hours with mobile work options, and a generous holiday allowance of up to 36 days. Required Skills

Education

University or Technical College degree in Civil Engineering, Municipal Water Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in calculation, project management, or planning within the construction industry, preferably in civil engineering or plant construction.
  • Proven expertise in construction pricing mechanisms and legal frameworks specific to German construction law (VOB/B).
  • Experience in preparing and conducting procurement procedures for complex construction projects.
  • Professional experience in identifying and managing claim-related risks in tender documents.
