This role involves conceptualizing and developing accounting-related payment processes and solutions for global online and offline payment methods, including acquirer integration and various digital payment systems. The successful candidate will harmonize payment-accounting processes across the Lufthansa Group, leading or contributing to cross-departmental projects for implementing new or improving existing payment processing and accounting procedures, ensuring compliance with legal and country-specific requirements like PCI DSS. Key responsibilities also include the technical support and further development of assigned IT systems, ensuring compliance, and planning/executing acceptance tests resulting from IT or process changes. The ideal candidate will bring innovative ideas to payment accounting, possess experience in payment, financial accounting, and project management, especially in agile environments, and demonstrate a structured approach with knowledge of current IT trends in the payment sector.
